Underworld Ascendant launches in September, check out the latest gameplay trailer

Underworld Ascendant from OtherSide Entertainment is headed to PC in September. A brand-new gameplay trailer for the game shows the Stygian Abyss players will be exploring when it launches.

Underworld Ascendant is a sequel to Ultima Underworld: The Stygian Abyss and Ultima Underworld II: Labyrinth of Worlds and is being developed by industry legends  Paul Neurath (Ultima Underworld, Thief) and Warren Spector (Deus Ex, Epic Mickey).

Underworld Ascendant

In Underworld Ascendant, players return to the Stygian Abyss for the first time in many, many years. The same emergent gameplay the series is known for will be front and centre in Underworld Ascendant with OtherSide Entertainment promising innovative player-authored gameplay.

As the titular Ascendant;

You must combine clever problem-solving and adaptability to restore the world to its rightful state.

Discover your unique playstyle – sneak past enemies using water arrows, go head-to-head in full blown combat, or manipulate the environment to your advantage with dynamic spells.

The choice is yours. How will you play?

Players will be able to enter the Stygian Abyss this September when Underworld Ascendant launches for PC.
