Gran Turismo Sport’s demo does not include VR support

Gran Turismo Sport’s limited time demo has just gone live. If you’re a PS Plus Member you’ve likely pre-loaded the 40+GB behemoth and are revved up to go.

We know that the demo includes Arcade, Sport and Campaign Modes. Players will have access to a broad range of content in the demo. One thing they won’t have access to though is VR support.

The demo does not seem to have any support for PSVR. As you can see in the video above, the option for VR Tour is greyed out. Clicking on it just produces the sound of denial. If you were hoping to have a go at driving some of the world’s best race cars through your VR, you’ll have to wait until the full release.

The Gran Turismo Sport limited time demo is live now through 12 AM AEDT October 13. Are you playing the demo now?

Gran Turismo Sport will be available October 18, 2017.

I've been playing games for the past 27 years and have been writing for almost as long. Combining two passions in the way I'm able is a true privilege. PowerUp! is a labour of love and one I am so excited to share.
