The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is rated M in Australia

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been rated by the Classification Board and has been given a surprising ‘M’ rating.

The Legend of Zelda is not a franchise you generally associate with violence, but Breath of the Wild has been given a Moderate Impact rating for violence. The Legend of Zelda is known more for it’s cartoon-esque qualities and has never been a series to strive for realism, but some other recent releases have also been given an ‘M’.

Breath of the Wild is coming to Switch and Wii U.
