Pokémon Trading Card Game Online might be coming to Switch

It looks like a Pokémon TCG Online Switch version might be on the horizon. In the updated terms of use for the Pokémon TCG Online, changes have been made to explicitly mention “Nintendo Hardware/Software and Nintendo Network.”

In previous versions of the terms of use, the language around Nintendo hardware, software and the Nintendo network were missing.

The Pokémon TCG Online hasn’t been ported to any Nintendo hardware as yet and it’s been available since 2011.

Pokémon TCG Online Switch

The Pokémon TCG Online is a digital version of the tabletop card game and includes a mode where players compete against the AI and a versus mode.

Like other CCG, Pokémon TCG Online features card packs, a ladder, tournaments and more.

This minor change to the Terms of Use may turn out to be nothing, but Nintendo covering all bases, but at the same time it may just be a sign that Pokémon TCG Online Switch is in development.

We’ll have to wait and see. Stay tuned.
