Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Shows Off New Gameplay And Skill Trees

Talk about a pleasant surprise – with each passing preview or unveiling of the upcoming Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands we get a little more intrigued by this odd mishmash of a game. A Borderlands spin-off meets high fantasy roleplaying in Gearbox Software’s latest outing and today 2K has shown off an in-depth gameplay preview and breakdown of the game’s six classes and their respective skill trees.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Gameplay Walkthrough

In the meaty preview footage above we can see two Fatemakers teaming up to explore and undertake general heroic acts in one of the game’s areas, Mount Craw. This is apparently one of the game’s many optional side areas and is of impressive scale considering its not part of the main path. The preview shows off some signature Borderlands-adjacent humour and voice acting, as well as some neat gameplay.

Elsewhere, the official Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands website has been updated with a comprehensive skill tree and class guide so you can figure out how you want to roll when the game drops later this month. According to 2K, you’ll begin the game with a starting class but will soon unlock the ability to build a unique hybrid character using the Multiclass system. It sounds like a killer way to play in a way that feels both special to your tastes and fulfilling the fantasy part of a power fantasy.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is set for release on March 25th on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via the Epic Games Store exclusively at launch. Keep an eye on PowerUp! for our full thoughts on a recent hands-on gameplay preview!
