Borderlands 3’s Bounty of Blood is 10-days away, check out 15-minutes of new gameplay

The next DLC for Borderlands 3, Bounty of Blood, is launching for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on June 25, which is only 10-days away. The follow up to Guns, Love & Tentacles, is set on Gehenna and has a distinctly western vibe.

It even has an unseen narrator, commentating on the action. Unlike previous DLCs, Bounty of Blood doesn’t feature familiar faces and instead, pairs the Vault Hunter up with some all-new characters.

The mission on Gehenna is to claim the bounty on the Devil Riders, a gang that’s been causing mischief in the town of Vestige.

Bounty of Blood

In aid of your mission, you’ll have access to the JetBeast Hoverbike and four new interactive objects; Traitorweed and Breezebloom being two of them.

In a recent video (above) 2K and Gearbox have shown off 15-minutes of gameplay from the new DLC and it is looking very slick indeed. Beginning in a sequence on the JetBeast Hoverbike, you can see just how much damage this vehicle puts out with its twin machine guns. Seriously, watch as the enemies’ health bars are shredded by thing thing.

Shortly after this, we get out first look at Breezebloom as it thrust the Vault Hunter into the sky. Once fun looking feature of the Breezebloon is the ability to perform the ground slam from a dozen or so metres in the air. Very cool.

Finally, we get a look at a town area which very quickly devolves into a full-on shoot out with assistance from an NPC named Titus. Gearbox promised us dinosaurs and cowboys when it first teased Bounty of Blood and from this gameplay trailer, it looks like it kept that promise.

I for one, can’t wait to dive into Bounty of Blood on June 25.
