Overwatch Cosplay Battle ANZ mini-doco takes a look at four amazing Overwatch Cosplays

In 2019, Blizzard ANZ hosted an Overwatch Cosplay Battle across Australia. Four teams — Team Victoria, Team New Zealand, Team New South Wales and Team South Australia — competed to design and make the best Overwatch Cosplay. The judging was held at PAX Aus 2019 and the winning team would be flown to BlizzCon 2019.

Today, Blizzard has released a 17-minute documentary taking a look at each of the teams, their design process and what went in to making these incredible costumes.

At PAX Aus 2019, Team Victoria was crowned the winner for its Brigitte Cosplay and travelled to BlizzCon in Anaheim. However, the three other costumes are also stunning and well-worth checking out.

Overwatch Cosplay Battle ANZ

The 17-minute doco — A Look Back: Overwatch Cosplay Battle ANZ — is well worth watching, especially for any aspiring cosplayers. It shows the dedication and passion these teams have for what they do and just how much fun they have doing it.

It also shines a really positive light on something which brings people and players together. It’s great to see such wonderful friendships and camaraderie through a shared love for gaming.

Congratulations to every team that participated and especially to Team Victoria.
