Zombieland Double Tap Road Trip is coming to PC and consoles in October

Developer High Voltage Software and publisher GameMill Entertainment have announced that they will release a tie-in game for the Zombieland sequel, Zombieland: Double Tap. Dubbed Zombieland Double Tap Roadtrip, the game is a top-down, twin-stick shooter with couch co-op. Based on the films, Zombieland Double Tap Roadtrip includes the cast of the first film and other characters from the sequel.

According to publisher GameMill Zombieland Double Tap Roadtrip;

tells the story of how the characters you love found their way from Pacific Playland at the end of Zombieland to the start of the sequel.

We’re bringing you an untold chapter in the lives of our heroes.

Take the role of one of the classic four heroes, or even one of the new faces, and combat an endless horde of over-the-top zombies!

Zombieland Double Tap Roadtrip

Zombieland Double Tap Roadtrip is set between the first and second movies and will let players choose from Tallahassee, Columbus, Wichita and Little Rock as well as new characters from the new movie.

Each character has special abilities that you’ll need to use in order to survive. In addition, you’ll need to stick to the rules of Zombieland to stay alive against the undead monsters trying to eat you.

Playable in story-based campaign mode, wave-based horde mode, and ongoing daily and weekly challenges, Zombieland Double Tap Roadtrip is coming to PC, PS4, Switch and Xbox One on October 15, 2019.
