Meet the Hearthstone Grandmasters for Europe

Blizzard has today announced the Hearthstone Grandmasters for Europe. Recently, the Asia-Pacific Grandmasters were revealed and included one Australian and one New Zealander.

The recently announced and new three-tiered Hearthstone Masters esports competition. The top tier of that competition is the Hearthstone Grandmasters. 

Described by Blizzard as “the pinnacle of Hearthstone esports,” Season One of the Hearthstone Grandmasters kicks off on May 17. Ahead of the season, Blizzard has shared details of the Hearthstone Grandmasters for Europe.

These are the players that have shown their skill and talent and have been invited to join the Grandmasters. Invitations are based on a number of things including;

  • Lifetime Earnings
  • Points Earned During HCT 2018
  • Seasonal Points Leaders
  • Contributions to the Hearthstone Community and more

  • Linh “Seiko” Nguyen – Top Points Earner
  • Chris “Fenomeno” Tsakopoulos – Top Points Earner
  • Jaromír “Jarla” Vyskočil – Top Points Earner
  • Kevin “Casie” Eberlein – Top Points Earner
  • George “BoarControl” Webb – Top Points Earner
  • Elias “Bozzzton” Sibelius – Top Points Earner
  • Joffrey “Swidz” Cunat – Top Points Earner
  • Thijs “Thijs” Molendijk – Top Prize-Money Earner
  • Pavel “Pavel” Beltukov – Top Prize-Money Earner
  • Jon “Orange” Westberg – Top Prize-Money Earner

The 16th European Grandmaster will be decided by whoever has the best placement at the 2019 World Championship. The 2019 World Championship takes place in Taipei from 28 through 28 April.
