The NBA 2K19 MyTeam Unlimited Tournament will award the winner $250K

2K has announced that one lucky NBA 2K19 player has the chance to walk (or is that dribble) away with a $250,000 prize. The NBA 2K19 MyTeam Tournament will begin next month and run through to February 2019.

Players will compete in the new MyTeam Unlimited mode which includes classic five on five gameplay and gives players the option to choose any 13 cards from the collection.

Taking place over 16-weekend qualifiers, players will need to participate in all 16 qualifiers. Participating in the qualifiers grants players tickets and one qualifying player will be selected on both PS4 and Xbox One for all 16 weekends.

NBA 2K19 MyTeam Tournament

All players who qualify during the preliminary phase will advance to the elimination tournament to be held February 2, 2019. The winners of both the PS4 and Xbox One tournaments will be named the console champions and advance to the final championship round.

This Championship Final will take place the week before the NBA All-Star Weekend in New York City. Players will compete in a best of three format and the event will be live-streamed via 2K’s channels.
