HearthStone’s The Witchwood release date is this week

Blizzard has been preparing fans for The Witchwood for the past few weeks. Now, it has been announced that The Witchwood release date is this week. 

The Witchwood is the latest expansion for HearthStone and features a horror/Halloween aesthetic. It introduces new features such as Echo, and over 130 new cards.

The Witchwood Release Date

Like with all HearthStone expansions, for a limited time after release, players will be able to earn up to three card packs just by playing. In addition to the three card packs, players will also earn a Class Legendary card from The Witchwood. 

Game Director Ben Brode and Sean “Day[9]” Plott will host the final card reveal livestream on April 10 at 4am. The stream will be hosted on HearthStone’s Twitch channel and a VOD will be available after the stream.

The Witchwood release date is April 13, 2018. 

Players are still able to pre-purchase 50 card packs and earn an extra 20 packs as well as a special card back.
