Destiny 2: The Witch Queen Has A Spooky New Launch Trailer

To celebrate the approaching launch of Destiny 2‘s latest expansion, The Witch Queen, Bungie is showing off some of the game’s gorgeous vistas and story hints in the brand new launch trailer. The titular Witch Savathûn is out for blood having stolen the Light and using it to raise an army of twisted Guardians of her own. It’s an absolutely bonkers premise for a Destiny story and one that we can’t wait to check out when it launches next week on the 23rd of February.

The Witch Queen Launch Trailer

As you can see, things are looking a little spooky for our Guardians as they travel to Savathûn’s Throne World to fight her monstrous hoard. The Throne World looks like a fascinating combination of decaying naturalistic elements and that signature Destiny harsh architecture. It’s all just very…witchy! If you’re after a more detailed exploration of old mate Sava’s rise to power you can head on over to the official site and experience this rad interactive trailer.

Alongside the launch trailer, Bungie has also teamed up with one of the leading names in gaming peripherals, SteelSeries, to create a limited-edition collection of gaming gear. The lineup includes gorgeous Arctis 1 headsets, cloth mousepads and much more. Check out the full collection, which is available now, on the SteelSeries site.

Destiny 2: The Witch Queen launches on February 23rd (AEDT).
