Here are the Scholomance Academy cards announced so far

Overnight, Blizzard announced the next Hearthstone expansion; Scholomance Academy. Launching in early August with 135 new cards, 40 Dual Class cards, new Spellburst keyword and more, Scholomance Academy is leaving behind the doom and gloom of the Rusted Legion. Instead, it’s focusing on magic, fun and learning.

With 135 new cards, including 40 Dual Class cards and 10 Dual Class Legendary minions, there’s huge potential in Scholomance Academy to shake up Hearthstone’s meta like never before.

Alongside the announcement of the expansion, Blizzard revealed 14 cards from the set which you can see in the gallery below.

Two Legendary cards have been revealed; Druid/Hunter’s Shando Wildclaw and Warrior’s Rattlegore. So far, the revealed cards don’t reveal too much in the way of strategy, potential meta or deck archetypes.

That being said, new expansions are only ever as good as they’re able to slot into existing decks and previous expansions. Hearthstone theorycrafters will already be hard at work figuring out the best possible decks going forward. They’re the real wizards.

Scholomance Academy launches in early August.
