Blood Bowl Joseph Bugman pre-order now available

Forge World has opened pre-orders for its newest star player in Blood Bowl, Joseph Bugman.

Those who pre-order will receive a resin kit containing two models of the legendary brewer and team owner. The first sculpt is of Bugman in the midst of play, stein in hand.

The other shows him contemplating a coaching manual while smoking a pipe.

Blood Bowl Joseph Bugman

According to the description from Forge world;

The name Josef Bugman is as synonymous with Blood Bowl as Goblins are with being cheating gits. Pitches bear the Bugman’s B, while the bearded face of the master brewer grins down on players from massive billboards.

When Bugman turns up at a match in person it is a spectacle to behold. Bugman is no mere spectator, however, as the stout brewer owns numerous teams, and coaches them from his private dugout as he knocks back beer after beer.

For all his bluster, and the vast quantities of XXXXXX he consumes, Bugman is actually a fair coach, having a good eye for the ebb and flow of the game – the problem arises when things don’t go his team’s way, or he gets excessively drunk, or some combination of the two, and he staggers out onto the field to take matters into his own hands.

Both sculpts seems to have a lot of character and look fun to paint. I imagine either will make a great addition to any dwarfish team, weather lumbering after the ball or commanding from the dugout.

The Blood Bowl Joseph Bugman figure will be released on July 13, 2018. Pre-orders cost £22, which roughly translates to $39 AUD. Forge World offers two different types of postage; standard and express. Standard adds another $5-6 AUD while express adds another $39 AUD.

All orders over £250 are eligible for free express shipping.

Games have always been a big part of my life in all types of formats. I'm just as happy with a deck of cards or a bunch of miniatures as I am with a keyboard and mouse or controller. Any game where there is a little teamwork happening is usually going be my favourite. I'm very partial to a good RTS, RPG or FPS session with friends, a beer and some decent music.
