New Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer coming this week

Rockstar announced today that a brand-new Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer is coming this week.

The trailer, officially the third of the game, will be released both on YouTube and Rockstar’s site at 11 am EDT, Wednesday, May 2, 2018. For Aussies, that’s 1 am AEST, Thursday, May 3, 2018.

The announcement of the trailer came with some new artwork, but no hints of what to expect.

New Red Dead Redemption 2 Trailer

This new Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer follows from the first and second which were released In October 2016 and September 2017 respectively. Red Dead Redemption 2 was announced in October 2016 and was originally given a Spring 2017 release date.

That date changed in May 2017 as Rockstar delayed Red Dead Redemption 2 into 2018. The release of the second trailer revealed that RDR2 would be a prequel and that it would focus on Dutch’s Gang prior to the events we saw unfold in the original title.

Aside from the information in the trailers and gleaned from screenshots, anything discussed about Red Dead Redemption 2 is pure speculation. Hopefully, this new Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer sheds some more light on what to expect.

There’s very little chance that Rockstar will reveal very much information, though if we’re lucky we’ll come out the other side with a better understanding of the adventure ahead.

Stay tuned.
