Dungeons & Dragons announces a new storyline and more

During the two-day long Stream of Annihilation, Dungeons & Dragons announced a huge range of new content, merchandise and more. The biggest announcement amongst them was Tomb of Annihilation.

Launching in Spring 2017, Tomb of Annihilation is a brand new D&D storyline. Featuring a deadly curse, zombies, evil snake people and a deadly jungle, Tomb of Annihilation is set to challenge all comers.

Adventurers tasked with stopping the curse must travel to settlements such as Port Nyanzaru to secure guides to lead them into the dense jungle. At the end of the journey, a horrifying villain awaits with a familiar visage. Will you survive?

Alongside the launch of the new storyline, fans can look forward to the tabletop RPG adventure launching on September 19, 2017. To celebrate, Perfect World Entertainment are bringing the Tomb of Annihilation to Neverwinter which will launch for PC, PS4 and Xbox One in July.

Adventurer’s League modules for Tomb of Annihilation will be playable at Origins Game Fair in June and Hascon in September. September will also see the release of special Tomb of Annihilation dice, complete with a specially designed metallic container.

Dungeons & Dragons is also launching Xanthar’s Guide to Everything on November 21, 2017. This book includes new options for Dungeon Masters and features more than 20 new subclasses, spells and lots more.

Tomb of Annihilation will launch September 19, 2017.
