Valve wants devs and publishers to show screenshots, not bullshots on Steam

Steam’s 2.0 Discovery update will be accompanied by an attempt by Valve to have developers and publishers include only screenshots on a game’s store page.

Polygon was shown the update and Valve’s two pronged request to avoid having concept art, stills from trailers or straight out bullshots. The request will also target images which users view as inappropriate.

Valve wasn’t just pointing the finger at others either and admitted that the store page for Dota 2 was one of the main offenders.
