Hard mode and light level increase coming to Destiny this week

Hard Mode for Wrath of the Machine goes live this week and with it, Guardians will be able to collect loot with light level up to 400.

This Wednesday at 4 am AEDT, update 2.4.1 will hit Destiny, bringing the “Rise of Iron” Raid’s hard mode and allowing drops up to 400 light from Crucible, Iron Banner, Exotic Engrams, Nightfalls, Strike Hoards and the Trials of Osiris.

Archon’s Forge will drop items up to 385 as will Heroic SIVA Strikes. Legendary Engrams will decrypt up to 385 and Rare Engrams will decrypt up to 365, an increase of 20 light for both.

While the update hits at 4 am, Hard Mode won’t be available until reset at 8 pm AEDT October 19.

“Rise of Iron” is available for PS4 and Xbox One.
