Here are some new screenshots from Mafia: Definitive Edition

Alongside the new 15-minute video, giving us our first-look at Mafia: Definitive Edition’s gameplay (which looks amazing), we’ve also got a handful of new screenshots from the remake.

These screenshots show some gameplay, the UI and HUD and give us a pretty good indication of the lighting and visuals we can expect when the game launches.

Mafia: Definitive Edition is a complete remake of the 2002 game by Illusion Softworks, which would go on to become 2K Czech.

Mafia: Definitive Edition

Developers of the original game from 2002 are part of the Hangar 13 team which is remaking it. Additionally, devs who worked on Mafia II and Mafia III are also involved in the creation of Mafia: Definitive Edition.

The remake uses the same engine from Mafia III, albeit tweaked and improved, and also replaces the original combat with a system similar to the third game in the series.

Recently delayed, Mafia: Definitive Edition launches for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on September 25, 2020.
