Go bigger and sharper with Hisense 2020 TVs

The whole world is in lockdown thanks to COVID19 which means more people than ever are using their TV’s than ever. Hisense is answering the call for fresh new TV’s, announcing the launch of their 2020 Smart TV range. Headlining the new TV’s are the S8 UHD Smart TV and Q8 ULED TV which will be the first to arrive in Australia.

“We’ve never been more reliant on our TVs than we are right now as a key source of news and entertainment. While these are challenging times, we are proud to introduce Australians to our 2020 TV range as they look to enhance their at-home viewing experience.” Says Andre Iannuzzi, Head of Marketing at Hisense Australia.

The new S8 UHD models are designed for those who believe that size matters the most. Buyers can get a massive, wall-filling 100-inch or 85-inch models but they also ship in more traditional sizes of 43, 50, 55, 65 and 75-inches. The S8 models support HDR 10 with HLG, Precision Colour, and Super Contrast. The cheapest model starts at an MSRP of $899 and go up to $14,999 for the biggest model.

If picture quality is more your thing, then go for the new Q8 ULED which use Quantum Dot Color and have Full Array Local Dimming Pro to offer impressive colour accuracy and definition. The Q8’s also support Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos Audio. The Q8 comes in 55-inches all the way to a massive 85-inches. The 55-inch model starts at $1,799 so you’ll have to decide whether size over quality matters to you.

Both the S8 and Q8 models share Hisense’s new and improved smart TV OS called VIDAA 4. It promises enhanced Artificial Intelligence and a simplified user interface with a universal search function. The new TV’s have Amazon Alexa built-in and support Google Assistant via third party devices. And don’t worry about your streaming apps; VIDAA4 comes with Netflix, YouTube, Stan, Amazon Prime and ABC iView.

The new Q8 and S8 models are on sale at Hisense.com and all Hisense retail partners across Australia.
