Call of Duty: Warzone

Mindfreak CEO Albert Nassif said;

Today is the beginning of a new chapter as we aim to bridge the gap between professional players, content creators, and athletes. We are excited to create a bigger platform for the region’s elite to showcase their talent, and for the sporting stars to engage with their fans in a different space.

With the release of Warzone, it’s the most opportune moment to bring the community together and provide some entertainment whilst staying safe indoors

Professional athletes already onboard and competing in the invitational include NRL player Alex Genn and soccer player Mitchell Austin. More players will be announced in the leadup to the competition.

The first live stream will run for three hours on the Astro ANZ Twitch channel and will feature commentators Ben Green and Josh Inman calling all the action for viewers.

Teams will be announced on Mindfreak’s Twitter account with the first eight teams already announced. More names will be announced in the leadup to the first event tonight at 7pm.

Get ready for all of the Call of Duty: Warzone action at the Astro Invitational kicking off at 7pm AEST tonight, April 10, 2020.
