Developers of Mutant Year Zero are launching strategy title Corruption 2029 this month

Swedish indie dev, The Bearded Ladies, will launch its new game in two weeks. Known for developing Mutant Year Zero, The Bearded Ladies has announced its Corruption 2029, which will come to PC via the Epic Games Store. A tactical, strategy game set in a dystopian future, Corruption 2029 will be available on February 17, 2020.

Set in the not-too-distant-future, Corruption 2029 combines strategy, tactics and stealth and puts players in charge of a squad of soldiers. In the year 2029, soldiers are heavily augmented and are on a “mission to infiltrate an inhuman regime and discover the cause of an ominous corruption that turned America into a war-torn wasteland.”

Like Mutant Year Zero, Corruption 2029 focuses on stealth, tactical strategy, cover-based combat and a wide range of weapons and skills.

Corruption 2029

If Mutant Year Zero is any indication, Corruption 2029 is sure to be brutally difficult and exactly the type of game that fans of the genre are looking for. Check out the screenshots above and the trailer below.

If this looks like your cup of tea, then you don’t have long to wait as it will launch on PC on February 14 from the Epic Games Store.
