Aussie PUBG squad Team Immunity to compete at Asia Pacific Predator League 2020

With a third-place finish in 2019, Team Immunity will be keen to do even better at Predator League 2020.

The Asia Pacific Predator League 2020 will take place from February 22 and 23 and will again feature DOTA2 and PUBG. The biggest “brand-initiated” tournament in the region, Predator League boasted 3530 teams from 16 regions in 2019.

In 2020, 17 regions including Australia, South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore and more will compete for a prize pool of $400,000 USD divided between DOTA2 and PUBG.

In 2019, Team Immunity’s Nicholas ‘Nick101’ Elliot earned the second-most kills overall, which is even more impressive considering it was his international debut. Team Immunity also had the most kills in a single round during the tournament.

Darren Simmons, Oceanic Managing Director at Acer, said;

Together with our gaming community, Acer is building a next-generation eSports platform for gamers to showcase their skills, build their own team, and open the door for international careers.

Team Immunity’s 2019 performance in the Predator League Finals established Australia as a serious contender in the competition and showed the region that Australia is here to compete in eSports. The Oceanic Acer team is fully behind Team Immunity for 2020!

Over 10,000 fans watched the Predator League 2019 in real-time with 4.3 million online views in total.

Predator League 2020 will be held in Manila City from February 22-23. PowerUp! will be in attendance to bring you all of the action as it happens.
