How long is Jedi Fallen Order

The long wait is over. You can finally play Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order and see the fruits of Respawn’s labour. You can read our extensive review here and see what our resident Star Wars expert, James, thought of the game. Fallen Order tells the story of Cal Kestis, a Padawan hiding from the Empire in the wake of Order 66.

The game takes place across a number of planets in the Star Wars canon and features Dark Souls-lite combat, Uncharted and Tomb Raider style exploration and some light Metroidvania mechanics.

Cal’s adventure sees him trying to locate a special Jedi Order Holocron that contains data on force-sensitive children. Cal wants to use the Holocron to rebuild the Jedi Order.

The Empire wants it to eliminate any potential threat.

Jedi Fallen Order

With EA and Respawn not offering a 10-hour trial of Jedi Fallen Order for Origin Access and EA Access members, certain quarters of the internet have taken that to mean the game is short.

I’m here to tell you that it’s very much the opposite.

As you explore a number of locations, battle the Empire, improve your Force powers and get closer to your goal, you’ll be playing Jedi Fallen Order for quite a while.

There are also plenty of side activities and collectibles to find as well as a few optional areas to explore. If you blast through the story without spending much time on exploration, you’ll roll credits in between 20 and 25 hours.

If you take your time, explore and look for every last secret, you’re looking closer to between 30 and 35 hours. This is not a short game so naysayers should take notice.

Jedi Fallen Order is available now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
