FIFA 20 soundtrack includes Que Calor by Major Lazer

Football fans have something to be excited by today with the announcement that Major Lazer will be contributing a brand-new song to FIFA 20’s soundtrack. The entire soundtrack will be made available on streaming platforms on September 13. Major Lazer’s song, Que Calor, features J. Balvin and El Alfa and is available in the new Volta Football mode in FIFA 20.

Volta Football is “inspired by the culture of street football from around the globe.” In Volta Football, players will;

Build up your squad in VOLTA TOUR, lead your player through the VOLTA STORY Mode, play through Promotion and Relegation in the online VOLTA LEAGUE, or take your favourite professional teams to the streets in VOLTA KICK-OFF.

EA has noted that in Volta Football, players will be able to play 3v3 Rush with no goalies, 4v4, 4v4 Rush, 5v5 and Professional Futsal. ”
With stricter rules, direct free kicks, accumulated fouls resulting in penalties, referees, and more structured type of play, get an authentic Futsal experience in VOLTA FOOTBALL,” EA says.

Steve Schnur, President of Music, Electronic Arts said;

Originally, EA SPORTS FIFA soundtracks reflected world culture. Then they began to influence culture. Today, the EA SPORTS FIFA soundtracks have become culture.

For the first time in franchise history, we’ve curated two separate soundtracks for the game featuring an unprecedented 110+ tracks representing more than 20 countries. The roster of artists not only captures the global spirit of the game from the stadiums to the streets but elevates it like never before.

On being included on the FIFA 20 soundtrack Diplo said, “We were really excited to be able to produce the lead track that is featured in the new VOLTA FOOTBALL mode.

“When we shared an early version of the track with the EA SPORTS FIFA
team, they loved it, so we knew we had to finish it and release it as a single. Bringing on Balvin and El Alfa let us take the track to another level and we can’t wait for fans all over the world to hear it.”

If you’re keen to get stuck into some FIFA 20, you can play the demo no on PC, PS4 and PC. The demo includes a taste of Volta Football as well as a UEFA Champions League match in the 11v11 Kick-Off mode.

Releasing on September 27, EA Access subscribers can start playing on September 19. EA Access and Origin Access members will be able to play 10-hours of the game prior to release.

However, Origin Access Premier members will get full access to FIFA 20 Ultimate Edition on PC on September 19.

The Switch version of FIFA 20 does not include Volta Football.

FIFA 20 will be available on September 27.
