Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville is available now

EA and PopCap have announced that the next entry in the Plants vs Zombies is Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville. Best of all, it’s available right now in early access. The Founder’s Edition, as it’s called, is $39.95 AUD MSRP and gives players access to new content each week, for six weeks leading up to the full launch in October. Founder’s Edition owners will also earn exclusive rewards and carry progress over to the full version at launch.

So what exactly is Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville? Essentially, it’s an extension of the gameplay found in Garden Warfare in that players explore Neighborville in third person as one of 20 fully customisable character classes.

On offer in the Founder’s Edition are “light multiplayer battles” and social interactions.
