Head to Chapel Street to eat a Sonic the Hedgehog Burger

As part of the Chapel Champions Awards, nominee for Champion Burger Joint, BosozokuHQ has cooked up a special Sonic the Hedgehog burger. Dubbed Sonic the Egg Hogg, this limited edition burger has been designed to look just like SEGA’s beloved Mascot.

It comes with a blue brioche bun, quarter pound of ground, seasoned and seared Wagyu beef, Canadian maple streaky bacon, melted cheese, 62-degree egg yolk, beetroot mustard and relish and onion rings.

BosozokuHQ is no stranger to gaming and on the premises you’ll find “a darts board, giant Jenga (WITH DARES), table tennis, nintendo lounge and a range of arguably the best board/card games worth playing.”

Sonic The Hedgehog Burger

While it may not be a chilli dog, the Sonic the Hedgehog burger from BosozokuHQ would surely get the tick of approval.

The Chapel Champion Awards is being run by the Chapel Street Precinct Association (CSPA), an independent, not for profit, membership based Incorporated Association that represents over 1600 commercial properties and businesses in the Chapel Street Precinct.

Other finalists in the Burger Joint category can be found here and include the Borracho Burger from Pablo Escoburgers, the Winter is Coming from Hoo Haa, the End Game Burger from RocoMama’s and the $140 AUD Ruff n Tuff from Tommy Ruff Fish Bar.

Voting for Chapel Champions is still open and will close at noon on June 7, 2019. You can vote for your favourites here.
