Horror title Among the Sleep Coming to Switch

Among the Sleep was released in 2014 and is a horror title played from the perspective of a two-year-old. Having lost his mother, the toddler and his Teddy set out to find her.

Players are able to walk, crawl and run, though running for too long will cause the toddler to fall over. Like Outlast and AmnesiaAmong the Sleep leaves the player defenceless and if faced with an enemy, players will need to run.

Krillbite Studio is bringing Among the Sleep Enhanced Edition to Switch which includes;

improved visuals, digital art book and soundtrack integrated in the game, selectable pyjamas, enhanced puzzles and gameplay, new dialogue and a brand new museum level where you get to explore behind the scenes and experience never before seen footage and concepts cut from the released game.

The port is being handled by SOEDESCO who also ported Defunct to consoles in 2018. Jon Cato Lorentzen, CEO of Krillbite Studio said of the Switch port;

Ever since the Nintendo Switch was announced we’ve had fans contacting us requesting a port of the game for the Switch. After recently releasing the Enhanced Edition we thought the time was right, and SOEDESCO Studios has been the perfect partner to work with for the port.

Jack Chauthi, Managing Director of SOEDESCO said;

Krillbite has always been dedicated to creating impressive, high quality experiences. Bringing their game ‘Among the Sleep’ to the Nintendo Switch with our own in-house studio is something to look forward to and puts us in a strong position for the next stages of growth.

The port features;

  • Enhanced edition with new dialogue, better performance & visuals and more
  • Put the pieces of the puzzle together to find out what has happened to your mother
