Days Gone Video Series Looks at the Wilderness, Pre-order Bonuses Detailed

Sony and Bend Studio recently released the first episode in a three-part series taking a deeper look at Days Gone. Coming exclusively to PS4 in April, Days Gone is set in the Farewell Wilderness; “a unique landscape that is as beautiful as it is dangerous.”

According to John Garvin, Creative Director of Bend Studio describes the Farewell Wilderness as follows;

Travelling the abandoned highways of the Farewell Wilderness is deadly. You’ll pass through thick forests of ponderosa and pine (filled with wolves), venture into naturally formed lava tube caves (filled with Freakers), and ride up steep trails to snow-covered peaks offering spectacular vistas (mind the Marauders – and Freakers — and cougars).

Riding the broken roads through Days Gone offers landscapes that change quickly and dramatically, a living, breathing world – filled with things trying to kill you.

The Farewell Wilderness features the “natural beauty of Oregon’s High Desert” which saw tens of thousands of survivors flood into the area. However, it wasn’t as safe as it first seemed.
