New Razer Tomahawk PC Gaming Chassis with Chroma lighting – CES 2019

Razer is having a whale of a time at CES 2019 with a continual stream of exciting announcements. Three new PC Gaming chassis, the Liana’s Li O11, the Tomahawk and Tomahawk Elite mid-towers.

Unbeknownst to most people, Razer has a Designed by Razer Case program which partners with case makers to build third-party Razer branded cases. But like with the all-new Razer Raptor 27 gaming monitor, Razer is taking things in-house with the Tomahawk family of cases.

Lian Li O11 Dynamic designed by Razer

The Liana’s Li O11 is a mid-tower ATX chassis and the first of its kind to feature Razer Chroma that is fully customisable via Razer Synapse 3. What’s even cooler is that the Razer Logo on the front glass gets illuminated by the light strips on the side. So depending on the lighting configuration you’ve chosen, things could look quite magical.

The Lian Li O11 will be available worldwide via major retailers for a recommended USD $169.99 starting first quarter 2019. More information can be found at Lian Li’s website.

Razer Tomahawk

The Tomahawk is the first of Razer’s cases designed and fully built in-house. It’s a mid-size ATX tower with a simple but elegant, squarish design. Two Razer Chroma light strips on the front sides and underbody lighting accentuate the black chassis.

Similar to the Lian Li O11, the Tomahawk lighting is fully customisable and features Razer’s new Chroma connected devices capability which allows connected peripherals to sync their lighting seamlessly.

Razer Tomahawk Elite

The Elite moniker suggests high-end performance and that is what the Razer Tomahawk Elite case is built for. Designed to house the best of the best components.

It’s a black aluminium case has tempered glass side panels with custom gas piston hinges that rise like gull wings to give access to the interior. A top glass panel is hydraulicly powered to gain top access to the case.

Speaking of high-performance components, the Razer Tomahawk Elite has EK WaterBlocks Liquid cooling solutions to keep things frosty.

The Tomahawk Elite uses an inverted ATX mount solution for the motherboard allowing for the graphics card to be best placed for hot air to be dissipated outside the case – keeping everything inside nice and crispy.

The Razer Tomahawk line will be available from the second quarter of the year with no pricing announced as yet.
