MapleStory 2 heads to the clouds in the Skybound Expansion

The first expansion to come to MapleStory 2, Skybound is now available. MapleStory 2 Skybound introduces an all-new area to explore, a new class, PvP and more. 

In addition, MapleStory 2 will host a special Skybound Celebration Event that grants all players level 10 and over some great free loot.

Finally, MapleStory 2 Skybound introduces seasonal holiday events for players to take part in.

MapleStory 2 Skybound

The new area included int he expansion is called Sky Fortress and allows players to explore a “staging ground warship that remains in the skies.”

Sky Fortress allows players to continue the Epic Quest as new Faction Missions are available from the five gathered factions. Players will also be able to explore each faction’s shop to purchase special items, skins and other cosmetics.

Also being introduced in Skybound is the new class; Soul Binder. A hybrid damage/healer, the Soul Binder;

studies ancient magic taught only in the depths of the mysterious Halo Mountains. While her spellcasting power is still raw, players must train to tap into the devastating potential deep inside.

Also coming to MapleStory 2 in the Skybound Expansion is the PvP Maple Arena. Here, players will face off 1v1 in a best of three battle. The winner will walk away with some exclusive and special PvP gear.

Finally, Normal Chaos Raids and Hard Adventure Dungeons have been added to help get players battle ready for the Hard Chaos Raids released previously.

Players level 10 and up simply need to login during the first month of Skybound to receive the following;

  • 30 Elixirs
  • 30 Master Potions
  • Level Up Booster Ticket

Players who reach level 60 will be able to claim an additional Level Up Potion which can be used to instantly boost a character to level 50.
