Armello launches for Switch at the end of September

Melbourne based League of Geeks’ digital board game Armello is heading to Switch at the end of this month. Having already released for PC, PS4, Xbox One and smartphone, it’s no wonder that Armello Switch is being released.

First release three years ago after a successful Kickstarter campaign, Armello has seen regular updates and content drops in that time. Best of all, those who buy Armello on Switch will have instant access to everything that’s come before.

Available in two separate packages, Armello and Armello Complete Edition, the Switch version is sure to be a hit for Nintendo players.

Armello Switch

Armello Complete Edition includes four Bandit Clan heroes, eight additional playable characters from DLC packs, two board skins, hero skins and a premium dice pack. The standard and Complete Editions both include all content and updates the game has received since its 2015 launch.

Set in the Kingdom of Armello, the game stars the heroes from the five clans; Bear, Rabbit, Rat, Wolf and Bandit. Each of these heroes is on a quest to save the kingdom from the king who has come under the influence of the Rot.

Armello includes 20 champions to choose from, each with unique strengths and weaknesses. Players will have to face off against procedurally generated maps, randomised quests, unlockable items and more. League of Geeks claims that every match of Armello is different.

Trent Kusters, Co-Founder of League of Geeks said;

Not only does Armello play brilliantly on the Switch, whether docked or on the go, but players new and old will inherit years of content, updates, and improvements when Armello launches on Nintendo Switch.

Launching for Switch on September 27, Armello will be available on the eShop for 19.99 USD / €19.99 / £14.99 and $39.99 USD / €39.99 / £29.99 for the Complete Edition.
