For Honor is free on Xbox One until September, Season 7 in-game event now live

Ubisoft has announced that For Honor’s Season 7 in-game event, Reigning Inferno, is currently live. Running until August 30, Reigning Inferno introduces an exclusive new mode and special rewards.

Additionally, Ubisoft has announced that from now until September 15, For Honor is free on Xbox One with Games with Gold.

For Honor has steadily improved since release with dedicated servers, Training Modes and more. An expansion is due in October so now might be the perfect time to get acquainted (or reacquainted) with the game.

For Honor Reigning Inferno

Live now as part of Season 7, Reigning Inferno adds the limited-time Infernal Dominion mode. Infernal Dominion sees zones surrounded by a ring of fire when contested. Players doing battle will need to avoid the fire in order to stave off death.

Infernal Domination forces close quarters combat and ramps up the intensity of fighting for zones.

Reigning Inferno doesn’t just add the limited-time mode, it also includes new loot. There are fire-themed weapons, outfits, ornaments and more. Players can also unlock themed Mask Outfits and an emote during the event.

If you haven’t purchased For Honor and are interested in giving it a shot, if you’re an Xbox Gold member, you can download it for free until September 15. On October 16 the Marching Fire expansion will be released and will introduce a brand-new faction, new Breach mode, more PvE content and more.

For Honor is available now.
