Watch romance unfold in Yakuza Kiwami 2’s trailer and demo

It’s not long now until Yakuza Kiwami 2 is released. To whet your appetite further — like it was even necessary — SEGA has released a trailer focusing on the romance between Kiryu and Detective Kaoru Sayama.

Coming from two different worlds, these two find themselves in the midst of a forbidden romance. While Kiryu explores Sotenbori, helps the locals, eats everything he can and gets into endless fights, he’ll also need to balance his love life.

In addition to the focus on this romance, SEGA has released a demo for Yakuza Kiwami 2 for PS4. You can download it here and get a headstart on Yakuza Kiwami 2 ahead of release.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 Romance

Being a Yakuza title, Yakuza Kiwami 2 isn’t only about fighting and romance. You’re also free to play a round of darts, sing some karaoke, play golf and any of the other handful of wonderfully Japanese minigames.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 is a completely recreated title using the Dragon engine seen in Yakuza 6.

Series favourite Goro Majima returns as a playable character, and the Clan Creator returns from Yakuza 6.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 launches for PS4 on August 28, 2018.
