World of Warships Legends sets sail for consoles in 2019

Get ready to sail the high seas as World of Warships comes to PS4 and Xbox One in 2019. Coming to console as World of Warships Legends, Wargaming announced the release today.

Developed by the same team responsible for World of Warships on PC, World of Warships Legends will bring the MMO to console. In addition to the battles seen on PC, console users will gain access to exclusive content.

Wargaming is hoping that World of Warships Legends will provide “a fresh take on the XX century naval warfare by taking advantage of the power and capabilities of the most popular modern consoles.”

Scheduled for release on PS4 and Xbox One in 2019, Wargaming is promising more information on World of Warships Legends at Gamescom 2018.

World of Warships on PC is similar to both World of Tanks and World of Warplanes and features various ships from throughout the 20th century spread between 10 tiers and four classes.

Players can play co-op against AI controlled Warships or in random battles against player-controlled opponents.
