It’s certainly not what you want to hear just days out from E3. However, there are rumours surfacing that there will be yet another Crackdown 3 delay.
Nothing is officially announced at this stage, so don’t put too much stock into it just yet, but the combination of two things suggests this new Crackdown 3 delay.
Will Microsoft really delay Crackdown 3 again? Is this a bad sign for Microsoft fans?
Crackdown 3 Delay
According to a post on Reddit, Amazon Spain has cancelled all Crackdown 3 pre-orders. If you search for Crackdown 3 on Amazon Spain it lists the game as unavailable.
On Twitter, Windows Central Editor Jez Corden tweeted about the alleged delay, claiming he’d heard from sources that Crackdown 3 would be delayed into 2019.

So far Microsoft has yet to comment but given that an entire country’s Amazon storefront cancelled all orders, it seems likely that a comment will be forthcoming.
Crackdown 3 has had a long and difficult development since it was first announced at E3 in 2014. Originally set for a release in 2016, it was delayed into 2017 to coincide with the release of the Xbox One X.
In August 2017, Crackdown 3 was again delayed, but this time it was given a Q2/Q3 2018 window and not a specific release date.
Xbox One fans have been waiting patiently for Crackdown 3 for some time now and another delay, right around E3 time would be absolutely devastating.
Here’s hoping there’s no truth to this rumour.
