Disgaea 5 Complete PC delayed until Summer 2018

Yesterday we reported that NIS America had accidentally released the full version of Disgaea 5 Complete instead of the demo. While that turned out to be untrue, NIS did revoke all PC demo licenses on Steam.

Today, NIS America has announced that Disgaea 5 Complete on PC has been delayed until Summer 2018 (Winter in Australia). The reasons given for the delay are due to bugs found while testing the PC version.

One bug, in particular, was so bad that it will require some time to fix and until it is fixed, the game can’t be released.

Disgaea 5 Complete PC Delayed

The full statement from NIS America is below;

As beta testing has been ongoing, we have been fixing bugs and issues as they were discovered. While working on corrections last night, we came across a new issue that requires additional attention that will take more time to resolve.

Unfortunately, until this issue can be resolved, the release date will be postponed, and we are now targeting a release for Summer 2018. We offer our sincerest apologies to all who have been looking forward to this release of the game.

NIS has also stated that the bugs found in the game are the reason all demo keys have been revoked.

For now, Disgaea 5 Complete on PC will be unavailable until Summer 2018. It was originally due to be released on May 7.
