Chibi Soulsborne Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption delayed, Switch version announced

Dark Star Game Studios’ chibi soulsborne title Sinner Sacrifice for Redemption has been delayed. The delay was announced by publisher Another Indie, however, there is a silver lining.

Originally coming out April 25, Sinner Sacrifice for Redemption will now launch in Q3 2018. It will also launch for Switch, which had previously been left out the release stable.

Sinner Sacrifice for Redemption was already announced for PC, PS4 and Xbox One and the Switch version will join these releases in Q3 2018.

Sinner Sacrifice for Redemption

Despite the delay, Sinner Sacrifice for Redemption will launch with language support for English, Spanish, German, French, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Russian.

According to the publisher,

Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption is set in a dark and forbidding realm with a twisted past and deep lore. Inspired by the Souls series, Shadow of the Colossus, and with a dash of anime styling Sinner promises to be a thrilling and challenging experience.

Another Indie also promises that Sinner Sacrifice for Redemption will feature multiple endings, a huge range of weapons, carefully designed enemies and monsters, a unique ‘level-down’ system and more.

Watching the gameplay videos and trailers, it’s clear that Sinner Sacrifice for Redemption is drawing a lot of inspiration from Dark Souls, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

The chibi art-style sets the game apart and the level-down system whereby players sacrifice stats to make the game harder is definitely unique.

Sinner Sacrifice for Redemption is headed to PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch in Q3 2018.
