Alienware announces the power behind the Gfinity Elite Series

Dell has announced the Alienware powering the Gfinity Elite Series. Alienware is an official partner of the Gfinity Elite Series and will be providing all tech for the competition.

With Alienware powering the Gfinity Elite Series, players will be using some of the best and most powerful gaming PCs, laptops and monitors available today.

For the Gfinity Elite Series, Alienware will be providing Alienware Aurora R7, Alienware 25″ Gaming Monitor and Alienware 17″ for the duration.

The Aurora R7 features the most up-to-date, 8th generation Intel processors; a 6-Core/12-Thread Intel Core i7-8700 processor that can reach up to 4.6GHz with Intel Turbo Boost Technology.

The processor is coupled with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 with 8GB GDDR5X video card, and 16GB of Dual Channel DDR4 memory. The Alienware powering the Gfinity Elite Series is some serious tech.

But it’s not just the PC that’s packing some power, the Alienware 25 Gaming Monitor has been designed to maximise gameplay. It features a 1ms response time, ensuring that gameplay can keep up with the intense speeds of the pro teams.

Designed for VR and featuring the NVIDIA GeForce TX 10-Series, the laptop will allow the commentators and viewers to get even closer to the game.

Anyone interested in the Alienware powering the Gfinity Elite Series can get up close with the tech at the Gfinity Arena in May 2018.
