Ubisoft has today unveiled the Assassin’s Creed: Origins‘ Season Pass DLC and post-launch content. Season Pass holders will gain access to two DLC packs and two item packs. Those who don’t purchase the Season Pass will still get some additional content, though it’s not as substantial.
The two DLC packs for those with the Season Pass are “The Hidden Ones” and “The Curse of the Pharaohs.” “The Hidden Ones” is set one year after the events of Origins. Taking place in a new, Roman-occupied area, Bayek must continue to grow the Brotherhood of Assassins and throw the Romans out of Egypt. It will be available in January 2018.
“The Curse of the Pharaohs” pits Bayek against all manner of mythological Egyptian creatures. Transported to a magical realm, Bayek will face these monsters to find out what has brought them to life. It will be available in March 2018.
The “Roman Centurion Pack” and “Horus Pack,” available to Season Pass holders, grants access to new weapons, shields and gear. They will both be available in November.
Free Content For All Players
Free content coming to Assassin’s Creed: Origins for all players includes;
The Trial of the Gods – Face off against the Egyptian gods in boss battles during special timed events, and receive valuable rewards for victory.
The Nomad’s Bazaar – Track down a wandering merchant who will give you daily quests to pursue and reward you with exotic mystery rewards.
Photo Mode – Capture the beauty of the Egyptian landscape and indulge your inner wildlife photographer.
Discovery Tour – This new game mode turns the world of Assassin’s Creed Origins into a combat-free living museum. Read more about this mode and the educational guided tours in our previous coverage.

While Assassin’s Creed: Origins’ Season Pass DLC is certainly meatier, the free content is decent too. You can purchase the Season Pass and it’s also included in the Gold Edition of Assassin’s Creed: Origins.
