Australia/New Zealand game sales charts reveal best sellers this week

The Interactive Games & Entertainment Association (iGEA) has released the sales charts for the first week of October. Australia and New Zealand are all about sport this week. Four of the top 10 overall in both countries are sports games.

FIFA 18 and NBA 2K18 took the top two spots in both countries. Forza 7 and Project CARS 2 both feature in the top 10 lists, though Project CARS is slightly higher in NZ.

Amazingly, Grand Theft Auto V is still in the top 10 in both countries. It came in fifth in Australia and sixth in NZ. Nintendo’s only title to crack the top 10 was Pokken Tournament DX for Switch. It came in at ninth in Australia.

Destiny 2’s sales remain strong, coming in third in both countries. Activision features three times in both countries lists with Destiny 2Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare in NZ and Black Ops III in Australia.

It should be noted that these charts are from physical sales only. No digital sales are included in the lists. You can see the full list for both Australia and NZ below.
