Overwatch Halloween event confirmed for 2017

As if we all didn’t already assume it was going to happen. Today Blizzard posted on Twitter announcing the return of the Halloween Terror event for Overwatch in 2017.

The tweet included a short video (below) which gives us a very quick look at new skins for Mcree and Reaper. It’s a little strange considering that both characters were given new skins in the Summer Games 2017 as well. Hopefully, some other characters get some love too. Both Mcree and Reaper look very cool though with the former rocking a Van Helsing outfit and Reaper looking very much like Dracula.

It looks as though we’ll see a return of Dr. Junkenstein’s Revenge this year too.

The event will kick off on October 11, 2017 in Australia. Last year’s Halloween Terror saw the introduction of Dr Junkenstein’s Revenge, which was the first PvE mode for Overwatch. No other details have been announced at this stage, but judging by past experience, Blizzard will be filling us in shortly.

Overwatch is available now.
