Cygames is headed to PAX Aus this month to debut Shadowverse to new fans

PAX Aus is set to host Japanese developer Cygames’ first trip to Australia this month. The developer of Shadowverse is headed down-under to celebrate the success of Shadowverse, the release of new expansion “Starforged Legends” and to host a handful of events.

Cygames will be hosting Shadowverse tournaments, judging cosplay competitions and running giveaways throughout PAX Aus. Shadowverse is a digital collectable trading card game and was released in 2016. It has since been downloaded over 10 million times.

“Starforged Legends” is the sixth expansion to Shadowverse and adds 104 cards to the game. The new cards are designed to significantly shift the meta-game and feature all-new, astrologically themed elements. Shadowverse’s World Grand Prix will take place in Tokyo on December 23 & 24 with a prize pool topping $120,000 USD.

Cygames and Shadowverse will be in attendance at PAX AUS in the main hall at stand 2700.

Shadowverse is available for PC, iOS and Android and “Starforged Legends” is available now.
