Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Gen team captains announced

Channel 10’s reboot of Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Gen is coming soon to 10 and 10 Play, and the team captains have been announced. Hosted by Anne Edmonds, Talkin’ Bout Your Gen will feature three teams: Gen X, Gen Y and Gen Z. Sorry, Boomers, your time has come and gone.

The original Talkin‘Bout Your Generation was hosted by Shaun Micallef and ran for four seasons on Channel 10 from 2009-2012. Two additional seasons aired on Channel 9 from 2018-2019.

Now, Talking’ ‘Bout Your Gen is coming back to 10 with a new host, new captains and a new, shorter name.

Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Gen

Per Channel 10, “Gen X, the “slacker” generation too busy rolling their eyes to get involved in the drama, will be led by the sharp-witted, irreverent Dave Hughes.

“Gen Y, masters of avocado toast and skinny black jeans, will be represented by the hilariously charming Tommy Little.

“Finally, Gen Z, the most informed yet easily distracted generation, who are ready to document everything on TikTok, will be Captained by the vibrant and fearless Anisa Nandaula.”

Channel 10 says to “Expect nostalgic throwbacks, modern mayhem, and challenges that’ll have the whole family shouting answers at the screen. It’s smart, silly, and guaranteed to spark some excellent intergenerational debates!”

Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Gen will air on 10 and 10 Play and is coming soon. No premiere date has been announced.
