Rockstar drops second GTA6 trailer, a ton of screenshots and a new website

While it’s a bummer that GTA6 has been delayed into 2026, Rockstar has eased the pain a little (or made it worse, depending on your hype levels) by releasing a brand-new trailer, heaps of screenshots and artwork, and a brand-new GTA6 website.

The trailer introduces us to the second playable protagonist, Jason Duval. Jason joins Lucia Caminos as the pair form the playable duo for GTA6. Per Rockstar, “Jason grew up around grifters and crooks. After a stint in the Army trying to shake off his troubled teens, he found himself in the Keys doing what he knows best, working for local drug runners. It might be time to try something new.”

At the beginning of the trailer, Jason climbs down from a roof while Brian Heder rolls up. Is it just me, or is Brian voiced by Stephen Root? Check out the trailer and see for yourself. Rockstar says of Brian, “Brian’s a classic drug runner from the golden age of smuggling in the Keys. Still moving product through his boat yard with his third wife, Lori, Brian’s been around long enough to let others do his dirty work.”

Rockstar describes the trailer as “Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.”

The nearly 3-minute trailer (above) gives us our best look yet at Vice City and the state of Leonida. It also introduces us to a number of colourful characters and locations. Rockstar’s new GTA6 website is up and running and includes a metric shitload of information on the game. If you’re still mourning the delay, head over to the site and make yourself feel a bit better knowing that when it finally does arrive, it will have been worth the wait.

You can check the website out here.

Finally, Rockstar has dropped a huge number of screenshots and artwork for GTA6, which you can check out in the gallery below.

GTA6 is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on 26 May 2026.
