Netflix has revealed Noah Baumbach’s next project for the streaming giant is Jay Kelly. Written and directed by Baumbach, Jay Kelly stars George Clooney and Adam Sandler. Described by Netflix as a “heartbreaking comedy”, Jay Kelly was co-written by Emily Mortimer.
Very few other details have been revealed about the film, and only one image was released to tease it.

Per Netflix, “Baumbach previously wrote and directed The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected), Marriage Story, and White Noise for Netflix; his prior work includes The Squid and the Whale, Greenberg, Margot at the Wedding, Frances Ha, and Mistress America. Jay Kelly is co-written by actor Emily Mortimer (who previously wrote episodes of Doll & Em and The Pursuit of Love and will also appear in the film) and produced by David Heyman and Amy Pascal.
Jay Kelly’s cast includes George Clooney, Adam Sandler, Billy Crudup, Laura Dern, Grace Edwards, Stacy Keach, Riley Keough, Emily Mortimer, Patrick Wilson, Nicôle Lecky, Thaddea Graham, Jim Broadbent, Eve Hewson, Alba Rohrwacher, Lenny Henry, Josh Hamilton and Greta Gerwig.
