Four brand-new McNugget sauces are coming to Maccas

This might not really be gaming news, but who doesn’t love to smash a 20-pack of McNuggets? Plus, they’re the perfect size and shape to eat while you’re gaming so we’re going to talk about McNuggets and the four brand-new sauces coming to Macca’s next month.

Announced today, Macca’s is adding two sauces from July 6; Cajun and Szechuan (uh-oh) for a limited time. Two additional sauces will be announced later in July.

Superfans and sauce aficionados will have the chance to get their greasy mitts on these sauces before the official launch thanks to Macca’s’ Sauce Quest.

New Macca’s McNugget Sauces

Sauce Quest begins on June 28, 2022 and will task fans with following a trail, both digital and real-world, to “uncover hidden sauce splatters and even saucier clues.” Taking place across three days, Sauce Quest will require fans to find all the sauce splatters and solve all the clues to find the secret stash of new sauces.

The Cajun and Szechuan sauces will be available between Wednesday 6 and Tuesday 19 July (while stocks last).

“The Cajun Sauce is a perfect blend of Dijon mustard, vinegar, honey and spices to create a creamy, sweet yet tangy flavour. This fan favourite sold out the last time it was released in 2020, so you’d better be quick! While the Szechuan Sauce will get your taste buds tingling with an aromatic and rich blend of soy sauce, ginger, garlic and sesame oil,” according to Macca’s.

Tim Kenward, McDonald’s Marketing Director said fans should “Keep an eye on Macca’s socials for your first clue,” for Sauce Quest.
