The King’s Man will premiere on Disney+ on February 23

Disney has announced today that The King’s Man, the third film in the franchise, starring Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton and Rhys Ifans will be available to stream on Disney+ from February 23, 2022. A prequel to Kingsman: The Secret Service and Kingsman: The Golden Circle, The King’s Man focuses on Fiennes’ Orlando Oxford who “must race against time” to save the world.

As a prequel and set many years prior to the other films, the existing cast don’t appear in The King’s Man and instead, the film provides insight into the origins of the agency at the heart of the series.

Directed by Matthew Vaughn, The King’s Man was released in cinemas in December 2020 after several delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It began streaming on Disney+ in the UK, Ireland, Japan and South Korea on February 9, 2022, and will be available on HBO Max and Hulu on February 18, 2022.

For those of us wanting to check the film out in Australia, we’ll need to wait until February 23. You can watch the trailer below.
