World of Warships: Legends introduces cross-platform play in its first update of 2022

Wargaming is bringing the seas together as it announces cross-platform play is coming to World of Warships: Legends. The first update to the game for 2022 is introducing a new range of Tier III-VIII Italian battleships, bringing back Azur Lane, adding a new five-week campaign and adding cross-platform play between PlayStation and Xbox consoles.

Cross-platform play will be available in Divisions and will allow three players across PlayStation and Xbox consoles to enter battle together. A special, cross-platform friends list will also be added to World of Warships: Legends.

The new Italian battleships will feature five ships including the Tier III Dante Alighiere and the Tier VII Vittorio Veneto. Tier III-VIII ships can be found in two types of dedicated crates and the Tier VII Vittorio Veneto will become available with the next update.

Wargaming has announced that “Azur Lane is back for a third wave.”

Azur Lane is back for a third collaboration in Legends, bringing an expanded roster of Commanders to the game. Six new officers, based on Azur Lane characters, are joining the ranks. This includes Littorio from Sardegna Empire, Aurora for Northern Parliament, an officer for Eagle Union and three officers for Sakura Empire. This reinforcement marks an important milestone for the World of Warships: Legends, as the number of Commanders now exceeds 100.

Finally, Pride of Prussia is a new, five-week campaign which gives players the chance to unlock the Brandenburg; an enormous German ship.

World of Warships: Legends is available now.
