Making the Right Choice Between Nioh, Sekiro and Ghost of Tsushima

Samurai horror adventure gaming is at its most popular point ever, and gaming studios are investing countless hours to release enough games to satisfy the demand of their audiences. Console, PC and streaming service gamers have a wide variety of titles from which they can choose, but four games stand out more than every other title currently available. Nioh, Nioh 2, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and Ghost of Tsushima have sold millions of copies up to now, and they are on their way towards being categorised as platinum titles. All four titles have a lot to offer, and purchasing them will add a lot of value to your gaming library.

Nioh and Nioh 2 – Perfection Times Two

The first Nioh title became a success out of nowhere. Team Ninja released a game resembling Dark Souls and Bloodborne, but they mixed the supernatural element with stories that were based on a real-life character. The success of the William Adams-adapted story paved the way for an even better samurai horror role-playing game. Nioh 2 is a sequel, which is better than the original title in every way. With very little marketing but with a lot of gameplay value, the two Nioh titles gave gamers an alternative to the freakishly difficult horror titles released by FromSoftware. This, of course, does not mean that Nioh and Nioh 2 are easy, but they are not hard beyond a point that can discourage the average player from trying them.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice – A Masterpiece Worth Every Penny

Sekiro is FromSoftware’s response to Team Ninja’s Nioh. It is an adventure game focusing both on action-adventure elements and on stealth. Just like its siblings, Dark Souls and Bloodborne, Sekiro is a game that will require a lot of patience. This means that this game should not be the first pick for those who simply want to have a few hours of gaming entertainment per day. After all, for this type of audience, there are always options like playing live baccarat at casino.com, as the rules are pretty simple and the gaming experience is not affected by the insane level of difficulty. On the other hand, if you are prepared to fight the same enemy over and over again until you beat them, then you should definitely give Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice a try. FromSoftware’s developers have done a great job creating a quality game that will be worth its cost both on 8th and on 9th generation gaming environments.

Ghost of Tsushima – A Sekiro Alternative for the Average Player

In many ways, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and Ghost of Tsushima feel as if they came off the same script. Just like during the 50+ hours of gameplay of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Ghost of Tsushima will make you a samurai that fights for a noble cause. Once again, stealth is the key to completing your missions, but unlike Sekiro, you will not have to drive yourself crazy because of the level of difficulty. As a character, Jin Sakai is a more realistic version of Wolf, as the two heroes use similar equipment and have a very similar fighting style.

Ghost of Tsushima is the first attempt of Sucker Punch Productions to release something that does not resemble the Infamous series. The game took almost six years to develop, but the end result is amazing. The gaming world appreciated the work of the Bellevue based developers, and as a result, over five million copies of Ghost of Tsushima were sold within the game’s first year in the market.
